This is a weekly meme hosted byJennifer at Crazy for Books. This is a chance for people to visit other book-related blogs that they normally wouldn't find and/or visit on their own. To participate, a question must be answered. This week's question is:
"Where is your favorite place to read? Curled up on the sofa, in bed, in the garden?"
There are two places I like to read. During my work lunch hour, I will sometimes go to the park and read one of my books. It is so peaceful there and I feel like part of a small group as there are other people doing the same thing. =)
The other place I like to read is on my bed. That's the coldest place in my apartment and, often times, the quietest. Especially if my husband is watching television in the living room, I will often go to the bedroom and just relax in the peace and quiet with a book. I do it more so now that I've started this blog.
Happy Hopping! =)
I found your blog through the Hop - new follower here! I'm love reading in my bed, but reading in the park sounds nice also!

@Christin - It is nice, especially after being in the office all morning with a phone that won't stop ringing! Thanks for following =)
ReplyDelete@Judith - Thanks for following! The two-seater chair does sound comfy =)
@Straylights - LOL! I am originally from the snow belt area in Ohio on Lake Erie. I miss the cold weather terribly as I now live in the Bible belt area of Georgia, so I keep my air conditioner set between 65 and 70 pretty much all year long! Thanks for following =)
@Creations - Thanks for stopping by. I will be checking your blog out soon.
Happy Reading all! =)
Happy Friday! Stopping in via the hop. I love to get outside to read when it's nice and warm and not blowing a gale! I only read in bed at night so I don't fall asleep during the day, lol. Hope you have a great weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteHopping by for the weekend hop.
ReplyDeleteStop by my blog if you like to see my answer this week's question.

My bedroom is also usually the coldest room in the house :) I don't usually read there because of it, but sometimes I escape to my room to read when the rest of my family is being loud downstairs. I do love curling up under the blankets when it's really cold out and reading like that!
ReplyDelete@1girl - Falling asleep is one of the 'dangers' of reading in bed, but I do so love it! =)
ReplyDelete@Elizabeth - I'll be stopping by soon
@Laura - Thanks for following! I'll be stopping by soon
@Kelly - That's one of the main reasons why I retreat to my bedroom as well. In the living room, the hubs is usually watching television or his two teenage daughters are over. Who has ever known a teenage girl to be quiet, let alone two???? LOL =)
Hopping by! I love to read outdoors in the summer sunshine. But here in Canada, my chaise lounge is the place to be in the winter. I am a new follower. Come and visit me at www.mandysescape.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteHappy HOP! I'm a little late this week but I'm the same - I love reading on my bed where it's nice and quiet. Hope you have a fun weekend planned!
ReplyDeleteHOP on over and visit me at The Bookish Snob
@Mandy - Unfortunately, the summer sunshine can be a little hot and humid here in Georgia, so I tend to stick to the shade =)
ReplyDelete@TheBookishSnob - This weekend has been a busy one! I'll be visiting you soon =)
